1. Acceptance

By using JobTailoring.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

2. The service

JobTailoring provides AI-powered CV and cover letter generation for job seekers. The service is provided by SE Computers Ltd, Hamilton, New Zealand.

3. Your account

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure
• You must be 16 or older to use this service
• One account per person — accounts are not transferable

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to create false or misleading job applications
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform
• Share your account with others
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

5. AI-generated content — your responsibility to review

JobTailoring uses artificial intelligence to generate CV and cover letter content based on the information you provide. By using this service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• You must review all output before use. Every CV and cover letter generated by JobTailoring must be carefully read and verified by you before it is sent to any employer, recruiter, or third party. You are solely responsible for the content you submit in job applications.
• AI can make errors. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, misstatements, or content that does not accurately reflect your experience or qualifications. We do not warrant that any output is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.
• Do not send without reviewing. Sending AI-generated content without reviewing it is done entirely at your own risk. SE Computers Ltd accepts no responsibility for any consequence arising from unreviewed content being submitted to an employer.
• Your profile information must be truthful. You confirm that all information entered into your profile is accurate, honest, and relates to your own experience. Submitting false information in a job application may constitute fraud under New Zealand and Australian law. We are not liable for any consequences arising from inaccurate information you provide.
• No employment guarantee. We make no guarantee that AI-generated applications will result in interviews, job offers, or employment of any kind.
• Fabrication is your risk. While our system is designed to use only the information you provide, AI models may occasionally generate content that goes beyond your stated experience. You are responsible for identifying and removing any such content before submission.

In summary: JobTailoring is a tool to help you write better applications. Like any tool, it requires human judgment. Always read what you send.

6. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed securely by PayPal or Stripe. All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless otherwise stated.

• Monthly subscriptions: billed monthly, cancel any time. No refund for the current billing period.
• Pay per use: charged at the time of generation. If the system fails to generate a document due to a technical error on our side, you may request a credit by emailing [email protected] within 7 days.
• Goodwill refund: we offer a goodwill refund within 7 days of your first paid subscription if you are not satisfied. Contact [email protected].

7. Data and privacy

Our use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand and Australian consumer law:

• SE Computers Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to: loss of employment opportunity, reputational damage, or any consequence of submitting AI-generated content to an employer.
• We are not liable for any inaccuracy, error, or omission in AI-generated CVs or cover letters, regardless of cause.
• We are not liable for any outcome — positive or negative — resulting from a job application made using our service.
• Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 3 months immediately before the claim arose.
• Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ) or the Australian Consumer Law where those acts apply.
